Corbin Boone has worked in the athletic training field alongside Dan Mozes for over 6 years. In that time he has acquired a broad set of experiences and has honed the skill sets required for assessing and training individuals from all walks of life.
Corbin’s coaching experiences are broad and diverse; he has worked with people of all ages and of all levels and backgrounds ranging from youth athletes to pro athletes to individuals with various neurological injuries and many more.
Corbin takes great pride and finds fulfillment in being able to work with and impact so many people from so many varied histories and experiences. He feels blessed to truly love his work and that he may call many clients whom he’s come to know well as true friends.
Prior to this line of work Corbin had his own athletic pursuits and achievements. He was a 4 year letter winner and starter on Cleveland State University’s Division 1 wrestling team. While at Cleveland State Corbin was honored with the Athletic Department’s “Mr. Viking Award” for his commitments to academic excellence while also demonstrating leadership among his fellow athletes. He graduated from CSU with a degree in Health Science and later became certified.
After college Corbin had the opportunity to serve the Brighton High School wrestling team as their assistant coach between 2015-2016; during this time Corbin was proud to see their team win a state championship.
Corbin met his wife Frances in East Lansing during her last semester of nursing school. They’ve been married since 2018 and are now the proud parents of a son, Colt, and a daughter, Gwendolyn.
Corbin lives with his family in South Lyon and when he is not working he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and kids and their dog, Linnhe. His other interests include hunting, fishing, and self-taught skills in woodworking, grilling, refurbishing and home improvement.
