Assistant Strength Coach

Jacob earned his Bachelors in Strength and Conditioning with a minor in psychology from the University of Findlay. During undergrad, he was a member of the Oilers football team for 5 seasons. Immediately after earning his degree, he began his career and worked on the Findlay strength and conditioning staff for 6 years. He worked with every sport at the university over his career, but was the head strength coach for men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and men’s wrestling. While on staff, he earned a Masters in Educational Leadership, also from Findlay.
Jacob is originally from Canton, MI and trained in Ethos’s building when he was in high school, but has been in Ohio since leaving for college. Wanting to move back closer to family, he knew Ethos’s values of work ethic, discipline, and accountability directly aligned with his values and knew it would be a great fit. He hopes to gain knowledge, build relationships, and continue to push himself to become a better coach everyday at Ethos.
Jacob is a big Detroit sports fan, an avid Marvel watcher, and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Lindsey, and dog, Cinna.
